R L Davison has transferred its UK Motor and Commercial London market operations to Miles Smith, which will operate under the name of ‘ R L Davison London Market Broking’.

R L Davison’s international, marine and reinsurance business will remain independent.

UK Staff

Lawrence Shortland, Arthur Walton and John Crisp, along with all of their UK staff that handle Motor, Property and Liability business are now situated at the Miles Smith Group offices in Birchin Lane, EC3V 9DU, less than five minutes walk from the Lloyd's Building.

Facilities and Markets

If you are an existing agent of R L Davison, you will have access to all of their existing facilities and markets. However, they will also be able to offer you all of the Miles Smith range of products. This is a fantastic opportunity for R L Davison's existing brokers and their clients as they become part of one of the leading London Market brokers.

Renewals and New Business 

Any renewals already invited or new business already quoted for December onwards will be processed by RL Davison London Market Broking as part of the Miles Smith Group under the terms of your agency agreement with Miles Smith. If you do not already have a TOBA with Miles Smith then one will be arranged for you shortly.
